Racism and policing are way down on the list of issues concerning black Americans, according to a survey.
Woke progressives are pretty much the only people obsessed with racism.
A Pew Research Center poll released in April asked black adults to name the most important issue facing the community they live in.
Only 3% of black Americans gave responses related to racism or policing.
- Violence and crime topped the list (17%) of local concerns, followed by economic issues (11%) and housing (7%).
FUND THE POLICE
- In August of 2020, at the height of “defund the police” fervor,” a Gallup poll found that 81% of black Americans didn’t want to reduce police presence in their communities.
- A majority of black Americans want police funding in their area to increase or stay the same, according to a Pew Research Center survey released last year.
- A July 2021 Hill-HarrisX poll found just 11% of black Americans want to reduce police activity in their communities.
Black Americans were disproportionately victimized by a spike in homicides in 2020, Fox News reported last month.
